Parentnet
Parentnet is a crucial part of our school. Like similar groups in other schools it's biggest focus is fundraising.This makes a valuable addition to the government funding we receive to operate Westmere School. We encourage parents to join Parentnet and be involved in the planning of events or to become a friend of Parentnet as someone who can be called upon to help at the event itself. Over recent years, Parentnet has developed a number of initiatives which have proven to be popular and successful. These are easily repeated using the planning and review documentation from previous events. At the same time, new ideas are encouraged to keep our range of fundraisers interesting and appealing. Past and present members of Parentnet will tell you that being involved in Parentnet is great way of being part of the school and community in a way that isn't possible otherwise. It presents a wonderful chance to build the relationship between school and home - all this has to be good for your child's life at Westmere!
